Moonrise

This is a post I’ve been waiting to share since we got back. When I came to writing it, though, I found that I couldn’t really find the words to go along with the photographs I took. What words could capture the stillness, the beautiful gradients of colour, the faint squawks of startled Adelie penguins? Looking through the viewfinder of my camera, everything seemed too beautiful, too vivid to be real. Suffice to say, it was a perfect end to a perfect day. I’ll leave you with the photographs, and let them do the talking.H-Whales_Mountains_EAW_1841-Edit6x4WEBMoonrise_EAW_1974-Edit6x4WEBSunset_EAW_2075-Edit6x4WEBMoonrise_Ice_EAW_1939-Edit6x4WEBMoonrise_EAW_1941-Edit6x4WEBAdelie_3_Moonrise_EAW_2152-Edit6x4WEBMoon_Berg_EAW_1960-Edit6x4WEBAdelieBerg_EAW_2135-Edit16x9WEBIceberg_Moonrise_EAW_2124-Edit6x4WEBAdelies_Floe_Moonrise_EAW_2201-Edit6x4WEBMoonrise_EAW_2222-Edit16x9WEB
