I’ve been much better at keeping the birdventure updated on instagram and twitter (check out #whosebutt for Whose butt is it anyway?! – a wee game I’ve started on twitter!) – so here’s a little gallery of birds from where I’ve been recently – from Arthur’s Pass, the Ashley River Estuary, south to Twizel, Riverton, and now Rakiura! I’ll be down here for two weeks before heading north again, winding my way back up the east coast before heading back to the North Island in time for the seabird fieldwork season to start again in the Hauraki Gulf. But the #birdventurenz won’t end there! I have a few things planned before the end of the year, and look forward to sharing them as they come along.
