iPhoneography update

To curb my procrastinatory habit of editing photos while I should be studying, I left my photo storage hard-drives at home so I could devote this week to some proper, focused, study. I also conveniently forgot that there was a Sunday between my exams and going home again, which is making blogging difficult. So I’m scrolling through my iPhone photos to pull together a blog post about what I’ve been up to recently (apart from studying, assignments, studying and assignments. And despair).

Autumn was beautiful but short-lived, but there were a few afternoons of nice light and crisp mornings before the rain set in and everything went mushy and grey.

A banana? I just don’t know.

I decided to start instagramming again (after a year break), so you can check that out here.

I’ve also been playing with the app Studio and making silly little pictures.

Not sure which one of these I like more, what do you think?

I went to the Zoo! It was fantastic, though I only got to spend the morning there. Anna and I focused on our native birds and had a wonderful time.

I went home for a week at the end of semester to recharge – after the marathon the second half of the semester was an endless cycle of fatigue and due dates that kept inching ever closer, and I felt like I’d been hit by a bus.

It was nice to go home to the quiet, and Dad and I spent an evening at Okareka. It wasn’t an overly successful one in terms of photos, but it was relaxing.

Is that my father, or foliage? IMG_3799

Sleeping in, walking the dog, studying. Ah. There was a lot of rain though, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Running in the rain is just not as enticing in winter.

And now I’m examming. My last one is tomorrow afternoon, and then I’m going to see Jane Goodall, and I cannot articulate how excited I am about that. See you next week for a proper update!
