Autumn. I love autumn. The turning of the leaves, the bite of polar winds sneaking up from the south. Autumn is best experienced on long dog walks in the forest, and then home afterwards for tea (or coffee, or hot chocolate) to warm up chilled hands. I was home for a few days once lectures finished to enjoy the quiet, and made the most of it!

I experimented a bit with the post-processing on this to try and give it a faded film feel. It gave the shadows a bit of a blue tone, which contrasts nicely with the warm leaves. Cheers Mum for wearing a blue that pops!
