Another short blog

Fantail_20151101-TW7_2390-Edit8x10WEB

I’m done! University is over for the year, and I am now free to take and process photos to my heart’s content. Like this sweet little Fantail. Found along the boardwalk that you can see in my last post, there is a little pool full of Fantail-attracting insects. The low light made it quite difficult to keep this energetic bird sharp even at ISO 1600, but I quite like the blur in the tail-feathers. I feel it captures the lively, dynamic movements that Fantails are known for. And the texture on that branch is pretty neat. Finding joy in little things like that kept me going through the exam period.

I’m not sure what the next lot of blogs will be about, because I haven’t written them yet. I’m a bit exhausted at the moment, but will make sure I have something up the next few weeks, Wednesday blogs included. See you Sunday!
